Nice quiet cabins in the country. Location is just outside Boone with good restaurant access nearby. Staff is friendly and helpful. My cabin was recently remodeled and had a good sweet smell of fresh cut wood. Room was clean and organized and had a latge kitchette. My room had a jacuzzi which was nice. Water heater is an inline model which meant unlimited hot water for showers and the jacuzzi. The cabin is old-school with amenities and is located in the woods. Expect possibly some inspects where we had one in the room. Still a nice stay.

I needed a place to stay the night and was thankful this hotel had a room left I could book. I was pleasantly surprised by how cute it is. It's not the Hilton, but it's cozy and quirky and was perfect for me! The staff member I interacted with was very kind and helpful. I slept peacefully and am 100% satisfied with my stay. The hotels in this area are ridiculously overpriced, so I recommend this place as a more affordable option.

Stayed here last minute when my original hotel canceled, and the staff was very kind and accommodating. The property is older, but the cabin was clean, quiet, and just minutes from App State—overall a pleasant and convenient stay.

Initial room cost at the hotel ($120, $109 with AAA, double beds) itself was very high for the room, I know cause I've worked at and stayed at enough hotels to judge. Def an older building, not updated very much, save for an A/C heater unit installed in back of the room over a sink. Missing shower head, possible mold on ceiling, over long shower liner - which being damp and piling up in the tub or on the floor will contribute to mildew, damaged window screen, back of door needed a good scrub, single deadbolt latch, old torn carpet, old baseboard heaters around perimeter of the floor, but the smell was probably the worst. Cigs + pet urine, though of course all rooms are non-smoking. Febreeze plug didn't help much. Location is great, but that's it, service was fine, especially as we had left an item there and upon providing the hotel with a SASE, they agree to mail it back. We stopped here only because it was rather late and we were passing through with crummy cell service, so, not able to find rooms on our phones. It's not those who work there, it's those who own it.

Pretty unique! Can't say that I ever stayed in a room with a Jacuzzi a foot and a half beside the bed . Location was perfect, just a mile from where I was going. Room was clean and well kept. If ever in the area again I would stay here.

Absolutely loved our stay here! We stayed in the Elkhorn cabin and loved the cabin feel and seclusion. Also loved how we were able to reserve a cabin 2 hours before arriving, as we took our trip on a whim. Only thing we were disappointed with was that the beautiful, huge front porch was LAYERED in pollen and all the chairs were covered in bird poop, so we couldn't actually sit on the porch and enjoy it. Everything else was absolutely great and we will definitely be back, if we go back to Boone. Lady working the front desk was very friendly and informative on the area, as well. Thank you for having us!

Beautiful cabin, very spacious, quiet atmosphere, very private. Nice porch to sit outside on. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
